Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki is a American political adviser who served as the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 222. A member of the Democratic Party she has previously worked in the Obama administration as White House deputy press secretary (2009), White House assistant director of communications (2009–2011), the spokesperson of the Department of State(2013-2015) and White House communication director (2015–2017). Psaki was a contributor to political campaigns for CNN from 2017 to 2020. Psaki started her professional career with an Iowa Democratic senator, Tom Harkin, and then became the governor of Iowa. Psaki was John Kerry's deputy press secretary in 2004. Psaki was also the director of communications for Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and also as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications as the press secretary for Obama's reelection campaign for 2012. [20] Psaki was appointed spokesperson for the United States Department of State in February 2013. [20] The speculations that she would replace Jay Carney White House Press secretary after he left the White House[21] were fuelled by her hire at the Department of State. However, Josh Earnest was announced as the replacement for Carney on May 30th in 2014. The White House welcomed her back to the White House in 2015 as the director of communications. she remained until the conclusion of Obama's presidency.
